Guest guest
The Samsung model is from a better brand and based on the reviews it's WiFi works better for streaming NetFlix. FWIW, I would buy the Magnavox for the bedroom and the Samsung for the living room if I was buying. The reviews on other Magnavox Blu-Ray players is horrible, but I can't find any besides the ones on walmart.com for that model. If you don't plan to use the WiFi option this is a better value and brand (LG) for only $10 more than the Magnavox, and you wouldn't have to fight the Black Friday crowds:http://www.amazon.com/LG-BD530-Network-Blu-ray-Player/dp/B00400NL02 Like I said the only downside is no WiFi connection, but if your router is close you could connect it with an ethernet cable and still stream Netflix and use the other internet connected stuff. Personally I have an older Samsung Blu-Ray player and have never had any issues. The only downside is it takes forever to load a disk, even a regular DVD, usually about 60-90 seconds. I don't have mine connected to the internet because I use my TiVo for Netflix. Noah Do you guys know much about blu ray players. Kaysar just broke our DVD player. I see wal-mart has two on sale. I don't understand the difference, but there is a big price difference. Anyone know or understand the difference?
