Guest guest
Start getting copies of all your lab results and blood work. You’ll want to keep your own records. Your viral load will be the measurement of whether tx is working. Re: Hi to all Hi Colleen Thanks for writting back. I haven't had a biopsy, the Dr. doesn't think I need one. He thinks I should just start tx. I'm healthy except for the hep c. I even had a CT scan 2 months before the hepc test came back positive and the Ct scan was normal. My blood test are all good except for the viral count, it was high but I don't remember the number. I don't know when or how I got it. I was tested a month ago. Sorry to hear your biopsies came back so high. Had you been on tx prior to the last biopsy? Losing weight can be hard enough without having the hep c on top of it. Good luck with it. Guest guest
Connie ~~ I'm glad you are liking the results. I hope to that during tx they don't have to tweak my psych meds a lot. I've grown accustomed to how things are now and I'm happy with that. But, whatever will need to be will need to be. Fortunately, my psych doc has helped a lot of people through their times of tx -- that is a comforting thought. I'm glad he's on my "team." Keep in touch and let me know how things go along for you. Best of luck in your decision making. Blessings, Connie Baty wrote: Hi I haven't started treatment yet because I wanted toget my depression and aniexty under control. Guest guest
Hi Connie, I'm hoping by sharing my experiences, it could possibly give someone some hope. It took me a very long time to be able to share without feeling foolish. Try to embrace your son's progress! It is an excellent achievement that he is able to do the homebound instruction.! He is obviously trying very hard to stay focused. Take things one step at a time. He may be well enough to attend the community college soon! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers also!
