Guest guest
I changed my mind on this mornings workout, I haven't done kettlebells for a while and wanted to try Katami's Kettlebell Kombos...wow....is this one a sweatfest in a box....I'm not sure that I should have attempted this one after not using bells in months, and I can already feel my back twinging a little. I dropped down to my 15lb bell as some of these moves are quite fast and I found that I was swinging a little wildly with the heavier bell. I think I need to work out with to get back into KBs, so this one will go back on the shelf until I get back into shape a little, I also did 1500 metres on my rowing machine using the pacer program. Not a bad start, but I do need to take things easier as I have definitely deconditioned after not working out for months and I don't want to injure myself right at the start. Have a great day everyone. Andie
Guest guest
Welcome back, Andie! We've missed you! I like working out with but now you have me curious about Katami! This is a follow along routine the AOS and Weber workouts? I only ask because it seems like a lot of Kbell dvd's are instructional. Guest guest
Yes, there is a follow along workout (41 mins) as well as a core workout (17mins) and also an instructional clinic (35 mins). He puts together combos a move at a time and then does them all the way through first on the right, then on the left. I think its classified as intermediate/advanced, but I don't feel that I can use heavy bells with this at all right now, he even says you should use a lighter bell than usual. Time certainly went by pretty fast and I really worked up a sweat. I just think I need to put more time in getting back into familiar KB exercises before moving on to some of these moves. I believe he also has another KB one that has just been released as well, but I'm not sure of the name, I got mine from and I think I'll go back and order his other one for future use as well.
