Guest guest Posted October 30, 2010 Report Share Posted October 30, 2010 > I see that a few of these require equipment called billy bands or > an amplifier bar, does anyone know if anything else can be > substituted for those items. i would stay away from 'billy bands' as they did not get good reviews. i do not know if you can do those bootcamp workouts without the bands, but i have always suspected not, so ive avoided them. the amped set with the weighted bar is good, and half of billy's class does not use the bar for all of the workouts. so you dont have to have a bar to do them. if you want to add weight though, you would need two short body bars (different lengths). heck if i can remember the weight of the amplifier bar, but it collapses and extends for different exercises, so that is why you would need two bars to replace it. :*carolyn.
