Thanks for responding. I will definitly look in to the Best Western Liberty

first thing tommorow. Thanks alot. Yeah handicap bathrooms will be a big plus

for after surgery.

2008. I've lost about 106 pounds and feel absolutely terrific! We

stayed at the Best Western Liberty Inn in Delano. We had a handicap

room on the first floor. It had inside hallways for walking in

inclement weather. The room had plenty of space for a recliner (which

we rented - Dr. K's office can get you the name and phone number of the

rental company). The handicap bathroom was a blessing, since my hubby

ended up in the shower with me to help me with washing myself and my

hair. We found the Best Western to be reasonable and their staff was

super helpful. There is a Denny's and Perko's Cafe right there, too,

which was very handy; we walked to both of them pretty regularly and

they let me order things like " one egg, scrambled, with nothing else at

all! " They're used to dealing with Dr. K's patients, I think! Good

luck with your procedure next month! You won't believe what a wild and

wonderful experience you're about to have! Post all your questions

here - someone will be able to answer anything, and I do mean ANYTHING!

My husband said no mater where we stayed, he wished we had rented a

recliner for him. We stayed at the holiday inn express got great rate

on line joined their club and in doing so earned to get a free room when

we went back 4 months later. The price was $ 72 a night.

Good point January is a really good time to have the surgery. Ill be

making my Christmas dinner a special one this year. Thanks for all your

info. I will definitly take all these things into consideration while

picking the motel I will be staying at. I think Ill go ahead and just

stay in Deleno

Yeah everyone in this group and that Ive met in person who knows about the

surgery has told me that I have to have a recliner. So Im making that the number

1 priority.
