Elva ~~ Thanks for the tips. It will be cool to have someone on hand 24 hours a day as things usually come up when the Drs. office is closed Will be doing the Peg-Intron or the Pegasys? I don't know yet until my appointment on December 5th. Best of luck on your tx. . My dr. ask me how much I drank per day. When I told him two cups, he said nothing. I took that to mean two cups was ok. I drink my two cups per morning, then I'm done. I drink tea at a restaurant but water at home. Hugs, VickieG" B." wrote: Hi Folks ~~ I am trying to get ready for tx in January. I just do want to start with so many new things at one time. Hi , Jeff is on the Pegassis. If you get on it, they have a program you can join. When you call to join, they send you a kit, with some handy things in it that you can use. A pill container, a carry container, a needle disposal container Sharp container, and a water bottle. Oh and a pregnancy test kit. Also a DVD on how to take shot step by step. The nicest thing tho is a nurse is assigned to you, you can call her with questions, or they call once a month to follow up or how you are feeling and if you have concerns. I think it helped very much. The DVD was great. This is free. SueVickieG wrote: . My dr. ask me how much I drank per day. When I told him two cups, he said nothing. If

you’re on Pegasys, you can go to www.Pegassist.com

& register & can track your labs, keep up with your appointments, on

call nurses, etc. www.Beincharge.com is

Peg-Intron’s support site. Looks like they have similar programs, too.

I

didn’t quit drinking my coffee in the morning, but I am a 2 cup drinker.

I drank herbal tea or hot chocolate if I needed a hot drink in the afternoon.

Preparing

for Tx - Caffeine

Hi Folks ~~

I am trying to get ready for tx in January. I

just do want to start with so many new things at one time. As recommended

here, I have started to increase my water drinking and starting this week I

will go to the gallon a day.

My other concern is about caffeine. I am really

concerned about this as I am a serious caffeine addict -- 3-5 cups of coffee a

day with tea in the afternoon sometimes. What did your doctors

or others suggest about caffeine? It seems like I remember hearing

something about it.

Blessings to all,

Vickie ~~ Thanks! 1/2 way is great, you go girl! I'm very fortunate and should only have to do 6 months, so we will be finishing up at the same time -- we can finish strong!
