Guest guest
I called the testimonial line too, but I didn't get through either. I'm glad you finally got back into the swing of things. By the way, I tried a Balance Bar today. It wasn't too bad, but it is an acquired taste.

Guest guest
My husband can't even believe how shy I am. Well I'm not sure if " shy " is the word, but it is almost like a " fear " of meeting new people. Once I get to know you...I'll drive you crazy chatting <G>. I still panic when I answer the phone and it's his mom or dad and they are wonderful people and easy to talk to....something I've been working on though. When I lived with my ex for so long in order to " survive " I shut myself off from the real world, kind of became a hermit and I'm finding I really enjoy getting out and doing things and meeting people...it's taking that first step that is hard. Guest guest
Oh my goodness, I thought I was the only one with " phone fear " !! When the phone rings, my heart will start beating faster, and I'll get butterflies in my stomach. And when I have to call someone, I get the same feeling. It's funny, but at work I don't get the same feeling; in fact, I *enjoy* talking on the phone at work, but at home I get freaked out. It's weird! I'm getting better, though, but it is still there. And I know how hard it can be to get out and meet people. I tend to be shy/reclusive at times, too. So you're not alone. When I first meet people, I don't talk much. But then when I start to get comfy, then I can talk sentences instead of one and two word answers. I think the only exception has been the Tae-Bo folks since I've chatted with them online, so it's like I " know " them. But others, it takes a while. I'm not one to talk on the phone either. I think I could be a guy in that situation--30 seconds flat and I'm done. The only thing that keeps me on longer is the other person holding up the conversation. My job hasn't made it any easier--being on the phone for 8 hours a day )!!!!!
