Guest guest Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 Hey D....I'm pretty new at this so I'm only at my second brew...for the first batch I used 1/2 cup KT (starter) in most of them and sugar varied by the size of the container...for this second batch (which I haven't been able to taste yet) I left about a 1/4 of the container with KT in it and then mixed everything in...I don't have test strips so I am not sure about PH level...it has been between 70-90 degrees in the rooms that I have brewing in (I have them in 2 separate locations in my house)...my SCOBYs have ranged between just a thin film to maybe a 1/4 inch thick...all very healthy looking =) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
