Hi Stacey

my hubby has Hep C genotype 1a and also has psoraisis too

he has been on TX twice now, just finished his second time around

first time it relapsed on him, he was undectable at week 10 second

time around, and we are waiting for his first blood test which he

will take on nov 1st,, and hoping to get a undetectable for the

case load count

for his psoraisis he goes to a tanning place 3X a week and it

helps,, yes psoraisis gets very bad during treatment but can

be handled ,, tell your Dr that you have it, he can help by giving

you meds to help the psoraisis

Hi ,I have had the genotype. 1b. I dont know what that means, but that's what I was told. It's nearly impossible to get to treatment because I have medicaid. I don't work. It takes months and months for an appt in the city I live closest too. I have not had the biopsy yet. I was quite surprised to hear that your surgeon (gallbladder) has it. I thought that you couldn't work with patients if you have hep. I imagine that he/she has had the treatment. May I ask, if the treatment is successful, if you get it down to undetectable, does that mean that you are 'cured' from hep c? Also, does anyone else who has hep c also have psoriasis? I have a severe case of it. Covers my arms and legs by about 45%. I have heard that the hep treatment makes it worse. Does anyone know anything about the two?Stacey

Hello folks, Im new to this group. I have been brewing milk and water kefir

for a year now and finally have the guts to try Komucha. I ordered my 2 scobies

from ebay, from a seller who sells lots of them and has 100% good feedback. My

little buddies (Ive named them THING ONE AND THING TWO) appear to be doing well

on day 2 with lots of bubbles being produced. I cannot wait to try my 1st

batch. Any personal stories or tips would be greatly welcomed!

Hi Susie, welcome to the list! You're gonna love brewing kombucha, just follow

the directions and wait for our little friends to do their magic. It really is

that easy. And if you ever hit a snag (not likely) there's a bunch of nice folks

here that are eager to help. Sounds like your scobies are active and doing well.

Start sampling it in a week or so and start drinking when you like the taste.

Good luck, keep us posted. - Woody
