Eagan, Minnesota I am a wanna-be consumer Hello Everyone at RawDairy, I have been on a Natural Health journey for the past 4 1/2+ years now. I recently became a member of the WAPF. I am taking some college courses in Natural Health and I am doing very well so far. I find it very bizarre that in America we can't buy unpasturized milk without a fight from the FDA. I beleive that those of us who want to consume raw dairy products are smart enough to decide that for ourselves and don't need the FDA's help. I am so happy that there are groups like this one out there for the recourses to find really healthy food. I look forward to reading the post on this group's website. Guest guest Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 Hi , Here in Minnesota we can legally buy raw dairy, it just has to be from the farmer at the farm. Or you can try dairy shares which have not been challenged in this state (yet, that day is coming) or join the local food buying coop (which has been raided). I have diary shares for both my goats and cow milk. The idea behind it is since you then own part of the dairy, you can direct what is done with your product (milk) and can ask for it to be delivered to our dropsite. Has not been challenged yet but the idea behind it is to make the consumer an owner and therefore have direct rights to the food you own. I am sure it will be challenged, probably sooner than later, but I guess it will be a battle that will have to be fought when the time comes. Anyway, welcome to the group!
