Guest guest
Hi Marty, I hope you feel better soon..that feeling will go away once the new meds get into your system I am sure. I had that dizzy weird feeling when I started my high blood pressure pills years ago...but that went away. I thought I was doing pretty good lately..slow, but surely, and then today I was in my back yard, looking at my flowers in the gardens..then I pulled a weed, and fell right there backwards all the way down!! I couldn't move! I didn't hurt myself, but I thought..how the heck am I going to get up!!  I can't get up from a normal chair, couch or anything unless I have to have  a few cushions under me because my legs dont have the strength to lift up!...I was never so scared in my life because my husband was at work and here I am laying on the ground!! He wasnt due home for a few hours...Then, out of the clear blue sky, my brother walked into the yard a few minutes later!!.. I couldn't believe it! He came running to me and told me not to move..I said I think I am all right..I wasn't really hurt, just scared...I crawled to the garden bench that was about 10 feet away...my brother asked me why I was doing that instead of having him help me..I said, I have to figure out what to do as if he wasn't there..besides, I didn't have the strength to push up from a chair, let alone the ground..and being dead weight you know how hard that would be for him too!! Well, I got to the bench and slowly lifted myself up into that.. it is sort of low so it was hard but not too bad.and then I had him pull me up..that was scary too because I felt real weak He walked me into the house and now i am afraid to even go outside by myself...this SUCKS!! Well, that was my day..one step forward, 2 backwards..very depressing too! Diane..42 p.s. if your new meds are making you feel like you did going to high school..just be glad you don't have homework!! lol I am doing okay but man o man are my new meds getting to me I feel like i did going to high school in the 70's . I feel loaded and floaty all the time
