Guest guest
FABULOUS!!!!!! I am so freakin happy for you!!! There's nothing like a good home gym. No excuses! Enjoy! My other car is a Pro-Form 290!! Review of that after the tracklist.OMG my legs are jello right now! I had forgotten just how hard this workout is! My legs were fatigued by the end of the warmup! Still, I rode on with the pack, with the very energetic and outstanding Les Mills instructors! I loved it! So much better at Studio LouLou than the gym (for me). The only thing better about taking it at the gym is that I always sit in back by the fan and get to oogle the hot bods in front of me. Things I don't like about spinning at the gym: 1) you might have to try 3 bikes before you get one that's in good working condition2) there are people who ride with HORRIBLE form and often the instructor says nothing3) your taste in music might not be that of the instructor 4) I can wear my sports bra at home and not worry about others looking at my tummy or large breastsRPM 39 apparently is the first full hour long class, the others were 50 minutes. My favorite song in this was Seal's " Amazing " for the mixed terrain track. It's just like the ones at the gym with the exception of it doesn't have the type of pedals where I can click in my cycling shoes - no biggie, the straps work just fine and my sneakers are way more comfy than my spin shoes. I only have spin shoes because at one point I considered teaching this format but focused soley on Turbo Kick instead. It was easy to assemble, took me maybe an hour. Getting it out of the box was seriously the hardest part! It was only $298 on Amazon and I was able to sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime, so that I was able to get next day delivery from Pennsylvania to Oregon for $3.99! Now that it's here I'll cancel this service, of course. There were a lot of other spin bikes on Amazon but for the price this was what I went with because it had very good reviews. My friend at work bought a ny G spin bike for $2,000.00 It does say that there's a weight limit of 250 lbs but that of course doesn't affect me (thank goodness). Can't wait to do some more spinning this week in between the CLX strength workouts!
Guest guest
So glad to hear it ! I will have to check this bike out - the price isn't bad at all. On a related note, while at the Y today for Steph's swim lesson (she has been promoted to intermediate now!) I saw that they offer group cycling classes that are open to non-members. You pay a fee per class and you have to register 24 hours in advance but I may give this a try one of these days!! I'm thinking the days I work at home - this may be a possible lunch time workout - especially since I'm pretty sure I would get a space in a mid-day class - as opposed to the early morning or evening classes. Must look into this! :0 Donna To: exercisevideos Sent: Sat, November 27, 2010 4:02:30 PMSubject: RPM 39 / I HEART MY SPIN BIKE! My other car is a Pro-Form 290!!
