Guest guest Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 Hi Everyone, We are starting our dexter milking herd and have an eight month old bull calf and a five month old heifer calf so far. We need to make a decision about the horns. Should we let the horns grow or dehorn them? We want to hear both sides. We do have children and they will be the ones raising and halter training them. We also in the future plan on selling our heifers as family cows, so that would need to be considered has well. Thanks for your help!!
