retuxin and prednicone...our all time favorites..and then maybe no surgery

...I hope.. I have heard too of people with pleurisy and fibrosis of the

lung...as I said, maybe they can see if the inflammmation cools..as we know it

Hey Liz and all of the Still's family,

Liz, I am still in a holding pattern concerning my surgery, still waiting on a

few biopsy results to come back, making sure that the Lymphoma has not spread.

My GI doc feels pretty sure that it is not Lymphoma , but is actually the

Still's again. He said there was an enormous amount of inflammation, just as

before.  The other thing that concerned him was that I had a bunch of adhesion's

on the outside of my small bowel that were also inflamed quite a bit.

Also waiting on results from a motility test, to see how much function is left

in that area of my small bowel.

Another small finding on a Chest CT Scan was inflammation in the base of my left

lung, I have never had any lung problems before, so I am not sure how that it is

related to Still's. I have seen members talk about lung issues before, but have

never experienced them myself.

If anyone has any insight to lung issues, the information would be appreciated.

I see it as a good sign that the Doc said to go ahead with my Rituxan treatment

tomorrow.

Everyone Take Care,

R.
