Guest guest Posted September 6, 2008 Report Share Posted September 6, 2008 My grandson is hyperlexic. I don't know of a professional in the area who specializes in hyperlexia. Center for Speech and Language Disorders outside of Chicago has done the most work with hyperlexia. They have books and dvds which are helpful. The hyperlex@yahoogroups is great for sharing what works. We consider this a gift and we use it to get language.
