My grandson is hyperlexic. I don't know of a professional in the area who

specializes in hyperlexia. Center for Speech and Language Disorders outside

of Chicago has done the most work with hyperlexia. They have books and dvds

which are helpful. The hyperlex@yahoogroup s is great for sharing what

works. We consider this a gift and we use it to get language.

Where are you? In FW ish Rite does reading disorders (hyperlexia

included), BUT you have to be over age 5.My son was just diagnosed by his

speech dr in Temple.
