Dear Diane, It 's very sad but I totally know what you mean. This flares are

so brutal that we begain to DREAD them at the first sign.

I was 38 on my way to work on a Tuesd. soooo very busy wt. life, 2 pre

teens my husband had just stoped drinking & somoking & I was cartain that now

MY

life was gonna finnaly be so very good !! We had began to do things together

wt. him & our kids. (till then It was just me & the kids) I had also taken

care of my father in law, he had moved in to our home because he 'd made a bad

decision on a stupid woman who after convinced him to sell his home he moved

wt. her to her rented apptmt. (his home was paid)Well he became partially

blind & kicked his butt OUT. So he moved in wt. us. That lasted about 9 yrs.

So I really was due for a brake in life. & believed It was begining to get good.

I trully runned the whole show then. After the accident I continued to work

but the neck pain got worst & began to spread all over the body. In 3 mo's

had more problems that I could list. Fortunally the Dr. I was seeing was

throughly familiar wt. F.M since she trained wt. an expert on it. So I got

diagnosed. She moved away & I had to swiched Dr.'s. The new one has 'd a one

track

mind. Every complain I made was according to him " F.M " . He 'd occationnaly run

a test for something then forget it. Just to say... see I told you I'ts just

F.M. Unfortunally I've had to keep him because he was the only dr. that on

his own offered me to treat the pain, wish untill then Ihad to deal with

pracctically living on ice packs 24 /7 I literaally made me 10 ziplog bags of

mix

of alchool & watter & doble up the bags & sewed up towel covers for them wt.

velcro & carried

them on my neck as I did any thing even laid down with them. I couln't use

my neck for more than 10 min.s at the time. $ yrs. of that & I read on the

paper that botox were helfull for cronic neck pain. & when I asked my F.M dr.

about that he told me that there was a collegue RIGHT in the samer hallways

wher he was doing the treatments!! But he didn't think to tell me about him.So

I've been doing the shotts for 4 yrs. now.

So the min. I got THAT under 70 % control, including relief of cronic

migranes & tension headaches (bonus

I didn't expect) all paid for by the ins. I started the Stills (or maybe

other DO) . I spoused I should be very gratefull that I did get one thing under

control evry time before I had to eal wt. the NEXT ... well kind of many have

over laped for a period of time, just enought to make me crazy...

So Marty... I do know about needles. I also had a phobia before I had to

take the botox (I get about 20 shots in the head neck & shoulders, some in the

very very edge of my hair line ) It was the best Dr. in the entired world to

make THAT mission possible he's from jamaica & has a very tender way about him

that lets me feel that I could put myself in his trust.My husband jokes that

if I ever go bold I'll have the smothest head rinkle free !! I'll

occacioally ask the Dr. if he could ACCIDENTALLY please " slip the needle just an

inch

or 2 further down to my FORHEAD to wipe my " frown " line to I don't look so

upset, but he won't by it.

but things got very bad in 2003 when I had my first episode of chills

,.sweats & extreme weakness. I had taken a new antibiotic & the Dr. blame it on

that.Then I had more & went ot the ER e/a time they diagnsed it from asmah to

panic attacks.

& I've been on " the mission " to get this diagnosed evry since.

I hope to accopmplished it before I'm officially NUTS.

Well things looked kind of slow up here today so I thought I'd tell you

about my problems hope I didin't bore you.

It took my mind of the depression, being able to share.

Pls. pray that I get my diagnosis & get another chance to enjoy a li'l bit
