Guest guest
<< Will do! Someone on a NASCAR message board that I visit just ordered one, (it takes 4 weeks to ship), so she's gonna let everyone know about it when she gets it. >> Thanks Ann Marie! My boss and I have been discussing it for a long time but he's beginning to think it's all hype. I'm not sure what his basis is for that theory though. I'd appreciate hearing any info you find out (and you too Monse!) :-)
Guest guest
<< That's what I'm skeptical about too - all the hype. That's all I see anymore is Bowflex commercials and infomercials with all the hard- bodies in them - makes me wonder. >> That is one thing my boss said too - the Bowflex commercials/infomercials are on *every* channel *all* the time! It's a lot of money to fork over for something that's all hype! I also agree with you about the Ab Energizer things. A guy I work with bought his wife one for her birthday. Bad move on his part! LOL! He says it works, but I don't think they've had a chance to use it enough to really know for sure.
Guest guest
Ann Marie, Sorry, I can't tell you anything about the bowflex, but I do have a soloflex. I like it a lot. My only complaint with it is that it doesn't fold, and therefore takes up a lot of room. I think from the commercials the bowflex does fold. On the soloflex you can work all muscle groups except for the inner and outer thighs. Kerri --- annmarietb wrote: > who does? Guest guest
Thanks, for the insight on the Soloflex, Kerri. The Bowflex has an attachment for squats, I wonder if that would work the inner/outer thighs. Ann Marie > > who does? Guest guest
, That's what I'm skeptical about too - all the hype. That's all I see anymore is Bowflex commercials and infomercials with all the hard- bodies in them - makes me wonder. Oh and those goofy ab-energizer belts (those drive me CRAZY!!!!) Guest guest
Yeah, and they say in-home trial - I'd sure hate to have to send that thing back!!!! I think the original s/h is $129 - you'd be out close to $300 for trying the thing, if you ended up not liking it. Ann Marie - who LOL at 's co-worker's Ab Energizer story ;-) > << That's what I'm skeptical about too - all the hype. Bowflex is every where, it's basically taking over. I know that it often runs on CNBC and Court TV at the same time. They had a story (I think NBC Nightly News) the other week on the belts. Some people complained that they burned them. Also, they said that you have to have something there to begin with, in order to get that magical 6 pack.
