Guest guest
Hi everyone. I hope all of you are enjoying what's left of this holiday season. From reading the board the last week or so, it looks like it's been a tough time for a lot of us. Me included. I lost my beloved kitty yesterday. She was 15 1/2 years old and has been pretty sick for the past few months. This past week was hell for her, so my husband and I decided to do what was best for her. My heart is absolutely broken. I know you guys understand. At least I know she's out of pain now...and mine's just beginning. This will be a birthday I'll want to forget. Meanwhile, I got my 3rd Orencia infusion yesterday..and I think it is helping. It's really hard to know...but considering all the stress of the season, my job, my kitty and Still's, I feel like I'm holding up pretty well. Sorry I haven't been very comunicative lately, but again, I know you guys understand. Wishing you the best for the New Year! in Texas

Guest guest
, my dear, I'm so sorry about your kitty. I know about this type of heart ache, I went through it with my rabbit back in late May/early June. If you need to carry on more you can always email me personally at: Zovtic@... I would imagine your feeling badly because of stress and the cold weather. There isn't much you can do about the barametric pressure but you may want to think about reducing your stress somehow. I find doing something creative somewhat helpful. I'd say do gardening or go walking in a pool but you maybe a little to chilly for those things. I have a candle tree I work on from time to time to relax. It's very simple really. A bottle (any kind will do), a tapered candle fitted into the bottle and light the wick. You can either take pieces of other waxes, colors or otherwise, and drip it on the burning candle or not. It sounds silly, but you might be surprised about silly things and how helpful they are. Please feel better. I wish you all a happy and healthier new year! Take care and be well. Ellen
Guest guest
Thank you Ellen. I remember when your rabbit died. We get so attached to our little babies don't we. They give and accept love unquestioningly. I like your candle tree idea. I remember I did one back in my hippie days with a bottle of chianti (I think...it was the wine bottle that that the fat bottom wrapped in straw...you'd always see them at Italian restaurants). I'm not feeling too creative right now, but that sounds almost meditative. Have a happy New Year! shannon Re: tough times , my dear, I'm so sorry about your kitty.
