Guest guest
Bummer on the knee, but you sure have a great attitude. I do hope it heals! Injuries suc*!  Excellent job with the workout!!!  D  My knee is worse and I can't run for a few weeks, I've decided, until it heals, which on the one hand depresses me but on the other hand it freed up time to do my favorite workout of all - TURBO KICK!I did Round 42 through Finale + Abs and I was a mess of sweat and stink afterward! I appreciate that with this round there are lots of kicks in both sections 3 and 4, though my favorite sections in this one are the finale and recovery. My favorite song is, and I don't know the title but it goes, " I'm not your private dancer, I just like to dance. I rock my body hard - I SWEAT! "  LOVE IT! I cranked up the volume when that one came on! I will do upper body with Noel this final week to be easy on my legs. I will work my legs with yoga instead.I stretched out with Yoga Zone's Stretching for Flexibility, a virgin. It was around a half hour long. It takes place at the Grand Lido in Jamaica and is taught by Kerner primarily with showing advanced options. I desperately needed this. It was your typical lower body stretches and side bend stretches and I felt better than before I had started. You end seated with hands in mudra, no shavasana which is fine because this practice didn't have any spiritual undertones at all, the mood was pretty much gym style stretching in spite of it being yoga on a beach. Tomorrow is chest and triceps with Noel. There are dozens of cops next door to Fitness with AR15's, as the gun shop next door was being robbed. I'll have to look for it on the news tomorrow! Never a dull moment *L*
Guest guest
Hi , Sorry to hear about the knee - but at least you do have a plan and enthusiasm for other workouts. Give it a full rest time before starting back up. Also, maybe start w/ a run/walk program to build up the strength in your joints to do a full run session. For me, aerobically I can run fine, but it is my joints and muscles that need to catch up - so I really, really like run/walk programs for that reason!Donna To: exercisevideos Sent: Mon, September 13, 2010 11:15:42 PMSubject: Turbo Kick Round 42 + Yoga Zone: Stretching for Flexibility My knee is worse and I can't run for a few weeks, I've decided, until it heals, which on the one hand depresses me but on the other hand it freed up time to do my favorite workout of all - TURBO KICK!I did Round 42 through Finale + Abs and I was a mess of sweat and stink afterward! Guest guest
Donna that makes sense but I'm hardcore walk/run doesn't do it for me, I " need " to go long distances without stopping. I'd rather just start off with 2 miles solid, next time go 3 miles solid, etc. Fussy, I know! That's why I'm the Pink Pussycat!Fincky kitty,me
