Yes I am a lucky girl, there is no way in hell he would have done any of this for me.

Also now we are on 3rd set of TST exercises, thought it best to be done in therapy room and he is cool with that AND that he can only have computer in the breaks, as it turns out with no computer he just falls asleep for the hour :)

Not keen on leg ones though

Dear Mandi

Another bucket load of rainbows.. how exciting and how wonderful that you have managed to connect with the perfect school and people to help Sam to flourish...

Note from Boarding House Manager this morning :)

Wanted to tell you that Sam put on a load of washing this morning completely INDEPENDENTLY!!!! He put all his clothes in, poured in the liquid and started the machine-with no prompts at all!!!

We've introduced mini schedules for him to complete each time he wishes to have choosing in his bedroom-so he completes 3 tasks; tidying his bedroom, setting the table, preparing the salad, sensory play, board games etc. before he gets the key for his computer. This was to expand his level of participation in both learning life skills and interaction with others-and he's taken to it like a duck to water!!!! Well done Sam!

OK, as Queen of the Cellulite, how do you do them on yourself,? My arms are not long enough to be laying flat and reach my legs, I have a long body (and short legs), can I do it without laying flat on the top half?

Mx

I think with the leg exercises if the patients have poor venus return, there are often a lot of toxins in the legs so there is a noticeable shift in blood flow when they are done.. I found when I did them on me that I notice a really warm feeling in my sternum and into my thyroid area as I think that the leg exercises also adjust the metabolism.. which is why these exercises are part of the basis for using TST to support weight loss. ( and it was after doing these that DDs cellulite started to disappear.... )

They more blood flows at higher oxygenation around both the body and brain, the greater potential for neural development and part of the benefits of this are helping the Limbic system to make sense of it all and develop a sense of consequence and a learning pattern of what is appropriate and what is not.= so I am really excited at the prospects of what additional gains will start to blossom in the next few months..for Sam the Man.

We are now 196 days seizure free in this household... longest time ever in her life... and this would not have been possible without TST... and we know this as we had tried every other  option both medical and holistic that we researched.. short of the massive brain surgery which was the best the medics could offer us.

It will be good when the AF article on TST comes out... as it provides a lot more information about the science behind the therapy and the amazing power of a mother's love and belief..

Best WishesTracey

Some of them can be done sitting on a chair and bending knees so that your foot is on the seat of the chair too... like hugging your knees into your chest... There are a variety of leg exercises.. and the really interesting thing is that the more I do them the more flexible I become... Has ever shown you how amazingly flexible she is?

Well when we get the fabulously shapely pilot study up and running then we can find out more... so not too much exercises yet.. we will need to have some less than totally perfect bits of your body to work with!!!

That is fabulous news :-) The mini-schedule idea is great, and the fact that

they write to you with such wonderful news (and they are clearly so proud of him

and happy for him) is just as exciting. He's doing really, really well :-)

Joe knows how to work washing machine and how to iron very well (he is 15) but Tom-ski (16), clueless about all things domestic, I think he thinks its on a need to know basis and he doesn't need to know so he forgets as soon as you show him...............sigh

Sam is also recycling at school now, stripping bedclothes and putting them back on, he always did make his bed bless him, and he unloads dishwasher at school and does the hoovering. At home he prefers to hoover himself for sensory fun and to see how fast Henry might burn out!

Monday when I cleaned his room I found he had taken spring onions and celery from fridge, chopped it up and posted it all in his bin (knife and plate too), so I must ask him to do more at home so he can show off his new skills

Mx

Mandi you must be soooo chuffed!! My typical son wouldnt have a clue how to put on the washing machine so well done Sam! x

I think with the leg exercises if the patients have poor venus return, there are often a lot of toxins in the legs

Thanks, that's interesting. Recently a shiatsu practitioner told me my legs were very toxic, and 3 weeks ago at my first breathing session (not TST but it aims to fully open and utilise the whole breath) my legs were almost on fire. I've no cellulite but poor circulation to my extremities.
