Guest guest
All men having power ought to be distrusted to a certain degree. Madison, speech at the Constitutional Convention, July 11, Does this quote have any relevance today? The whole question of the Constitution was debated for months, openly. Does the suppression of Rawsome by the government by armed force shed some light on the trust of the government. Here, even Madison, one of the most important of the founding fathers says to be distrutful of men of power. In today's society I am sure he would rephrase this as both men and women of power.
