When they put the thing down my throat, they found I had a Schatzky’s ring or esophageal ring which is a ring of harder tissue around your esophagus and they stretched it out while they were in there. It took a few weeks after that before the food quit getting stuck, but it’s much better now. I take omeprazole for GERD (acid reflux) too. How did yours go?????
