Guest guest
I would recommend you team think about stoping amolodipine as BP is so low. I always stop all BP meds day of surgery but then I have only been doing this for 45 years.CE Grim MDI did want to add this to my update. 1 week after surgey I am still getting up 3 times a night to pee. It could be that I am drinking a ton of water etc . My BP is good around 117/72 but my resting heart rate is still averaging around 95-99. No spiro, amlodopine the same at 10 mgs 1x day and no K supplimments. I will have a blood draw for K tomorrow and will be calling doc about some issues. Guest guest
I did wonder about taking the amlodopine but there have been so many things I question. Dr. Grim , if I had the $500 I would be hiring you as part of my team in a heartbeat. I feel almost as though I am stranded. The doctors I have dealt with definetly do not have the knowledge of Dr. Grim so I am doing the best I can in the situation I have. I also have a plan to put together a " packette " if you will of information from this group to present to the two docs I am working with now. I have given the endocrinologist Dr. Grim's article but am not sure that she read it. I will be presenting that again along with other information. I have had such a bad and potentially dangerous journey since December of last year that if I can prevent 1 person from going through what I have then I want to do that. Like Dr. Grim has said, Conn's is not that rare. It is about time the medical world gets a clue!!! > > > I did want to add this to my update. 1 week after surgey I am still > > getting up 3 times a night to pee. Guest guest
I'm sure I could file complaints and plan on doing so for the episode that happened at Dartmouth but it is only to prevent others from having to go through something like that. I am still in the process of healing from the sugery and wonder if I am recieving proper care. All I truley want is to feel good. I want to get back to my exercising and dancing and playing with the grandchildren. I want to get back to my photography. I have been unable to do a lot of this because i have felt so bad over this past year and a half. Longer but not as bad. Anyway, blah, blah. Up until December i had never even heard of PA. I just dealt with how lousy I felt on a day to day basis. Guest guest
Having problems with attention span is most likely due to PA. Many of us call it brain fog. Not a term Dr are likely to understand. What tests have you had done? What has your potassium been? Have they checked aldosterone and renin? > > > > Remember, doctors are not Gods (perhaps Dr. Grim excepted!?), even > > though many of them think they are.
