Feel your pain, we are in Waco and it seems like this board is geared to Houston

mostly.  But info from anywhere is good.  Our older son, Caleb, is nearly eight

and we are still fighting for a diagnosis.  Looks like Aspergers, but we are

waiting to see.  We have to oportunity, and I don't know if they can see your

son so young but you can ask, to go to Texas ish-Rite Childrens Hospital in

Dallas for an evaluation.  From what I am being told they are going to look at

him from head to toe and do three gazillion tests over a three day period to

make sure they have checked out every possible sinario.  It is all free since

the Masons raise the funds so that helps.  If you are interested let me know and

I can forward you the info I have for them and you can see if they maybe able to

help.

ah, i now see the delay in being approved is because the list owner is

in houston! four of the 20 emails so far were *not* related to ike!

i hope everyone is recoving well from the hurricane. the storm pretty

much missed us in the dallas area, which is good because we *had* to

drive an hour into dallas for immigration saturday at noon!

anyway, my spouse is a self-dxed aspie, and i agree. we've noticed that

our 13mo son gene doesn't seem to be progressing as he should, though he

can do some surprising things and was walking by his first birthday. we

both assessed him with the CSBS DP and he scored in the concern range on

all three categories (social, speech, symbolic). so, i'm here to find

out what assessments and programs are available. we live about an hour

north of dallas, in grayson county.

I am in Waco/Hewitt too.  We are currently trying to put together an

PDD/Asperger-specific

support group.  Anyone interested, please contact me directly at

I am a mother of a 9 y.o. in the Midway ISD.  Blessings--

PS-I think  I may be able to help you get a diagnosis, at no charge.  Email me!

  • 1 year later...

Hi allWe are getting ready to retire.  We purchased a small farm and will have goats among other stock and ventures.  We love raw milk, drank it for many years before getting into teaching and away from farming.  Now that we will be getting back to the basics, we can hardly wait!!

Our farm is in Palmer, Alaska.  :o)-- Clyde and Peggy LeePOB 1254Wrangell, Alaska 99929

Hi , welcome.

I just re-ordered a copy of “Raw

Milk Production Handbook” from the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund,

(since I can’t find mine).

Did any other producers find this book

useful?

I pass this along in case you might be

interested . It is $6 and can be ordered at:

https://www.farmtoconsumer.net/EducationalRawMilkHanbook.asp

You may want to join the fund, it is

specifically set up to help farmers in dealing with overzealous governmental

intrusion into the farmer to consumer relationship.

Sincerely,

Hello. My name is Olive. My wife and

I, Arlia, both Florida natives, moved to a

moderatly sized farm in Tennessee

2 years ago, joyfully leaving the rat race to those more interested in its

lifestyle. We moved for a million reasons, but toward the top of the list

was good food, free from what Salatin calls the 'Industrial Model.'
