I agree with Darcy - I pigged out on pizza, gained 5 lbs the next day, but now 3 of those are gone now that I'm back into my regular good eating routine.  I wouldn't sweat it, as long as you don't do this all the time you'll be back to where you were in a few days.

It's water on the scale, and surely not fat.  Don't worry about it!!  FWIW, it seems after I ave a bad day, after a couple of days pass the scale drops more than it was initially :)

 

Were the abs standing?  A lot of times standing ab-work doesn't isolate or target the abs like 'on the floor' abs does.

Yesterday I had a very bad eating day.  We had a party at work for bosses day,  I don't usually cave this badly, not sure what was going on yesterday.  I gained 6 pounds from yesterday morning till this morning, that's just great. I was also supposed to work out yesterday and take today as a rest day but that didn't happen, I didn't work out at all yesterday.   Anyways, yesterday is gone, time to start over.  This morning I did Personal Training with Jackie.  I did the 40 minutes Total Body Circuit.  I liked this DVD.  I don't always feel things in the places they say I should. On the tummy tucks, I don't feel them at all in my lower abs, I only feel them in my front thighs a lot.  Maybe because I don't have enough abs built up to feel yet.  Have a great day everyone.

I just finished up with Tae Bo Amped Fat Burn Accelerator. It was about 55 minutes long. I so days off when I get a chance to do my longer workouts without having to rush. I have nothing planned for today. I am going to watch a movie and then finish up with some housework. No black Friday shopping for me. I hate crowds and am broke anyways so I don't have to think about it. Have a great day everyone.

I wish. Everyday is a different version of the same rushing around lately here. Today, I got to sleep a little later but then work this morning. We actually had 1 person join after the first meeting and 2 new people join after the second, on the day after Thanksgiving!! (Poor people, I had to give them an orientation and say, "but the program is changing in 2 days so don't get too attached to much...") I fully expected to get out early but we ended up with a lot more people than we'd expected and we're doing the changeover stuff so it was a long morning. Then grocery shopping. Then home for lunch finally, 7 hours after breakfast (and I forgot to pack a snack) and now we're going to my in-laws for dinner in a little while. Tomorrow, I'm working in the morning plus tons more changeover stuff after the meetings are done, then home to sleep for a while I hope (my toes are doing the pain in the middle of the night thing again and I'm getting very little uninterrupted sleep) then off to my dad's 45 minutes away again (we were there last night) for another dinner and Santa visiting (they hired a Santa to come and visit with the kids, the kids don't know yet though). I could go on and on... Monday is sort of quiet though. I don't have to work because I'm taking the kids in for their checkups at 9 and 9:30 then dropping them off at their respective schools then I have the rest of the day until 3:30 to do whatever which probably includes getting new tires on my car so nothing too fun but at least not driving all over the world for once. I can read while they work on the car too so that's good.

Very nice! I love unrushed day off workouts too! I'm spending a cozy day at home as well. It's a little chilly today, and it's so quiet and warm in here. It feels like a retreat.

No shopping for me either.
