Guest guest
Dear Welcome to the group - wow you have done fantastically well. Just think that is 15kg gone forever that you wont have to worry about again. It is tempting to live on a bit of junk food, it goes down so well but it sounds like you are back on track now with a bit of fill and a chat to the professionals. Once again, welcome! I work in St Leonards, as does Mazz and Andi so perhaps you might make it down some time when we are meeting up for lunch. What a lovely story on how you met your husband. You sound so happy, congratulations. Are you coming to Bulli next week? If not I hope we will have the pleasure of your company soon. Guest guest
Hi , Unfortunately I can't make it to Bulli, I am kicking myself as it sounds like a perfect spot for a picnic with friends. I actually work in The Forum at St.Leonards and would love to meet up with you girls for lunch sometime (the sooner the better!). I only work Wed/Thur/Fri but I am fairly flexible and can take my lunch break at any time. Hope all is going well for you and hope to meet you soon Best wishes > > Once again, welcome! Guest guest
Welcome to the family, I'm SuZie & I live in the GWN (Great White North) - Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada with Sir SpYke the Fuzzy, GOT ( Galactic Overlord in Training). He's my darlin' little fuzz ball & almost has me trained. You will hear more of him later. I'm 58 & I've been HCV+ for probably over half that time. My doctor & I figure I've had it since 1969 or '70 & it hasn't caused me much trouble until the last few years. I've been on tx twice but turned out to be a non-responder. I've had cirrhosis since my first biopsy(1991) & am now in ESLD (End State Liver Disease). The docs sent me down to London Ont. for a transplant assessment but they said I don't need one yet, maybe never(fingers crossed). I think you'll like it here. We're a crazy bunch but helpful. Ask anything, if one of us doesn't know the answer we'll know where to find it & point you in that direction. Many of us have been or are on tx(treatment) right now so we can give you the benefit of our experience. Don't be afraid to ask, there's no such thing as a stupid question, to quote our fearless leader. Once again, welcome, SuZie ( & SpYke the Fuzzy) Next time I'm coming back as a cat
