Guest guest Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 Tuesday, March 17, 2009 YMCA weights made another productive trip the to y today. this time did 2 sets of 10 on all the machines(except ab board and standing leg curls to wiped for that) and i also did 4 sets of 5 on the pull ups. 2 sets wide grip 2 sets narrow grip. then i went to the downstairs weight room and did some kettlebell moves mostly swings and did some cleans to practice my form. their 15lber felt much better then mine for sure. mine is a plastic one so i am sure that has something to do with it. afterwards i did some stretching in the corner and played around with a foam roller they had there. felt really great on the quads,almost like a massage. they are great and i am thinking for my b-day getting one to use at home too.this woman at work had more comments on my "belly" today. i am just convince she is just like my mother in law but thrives off of pessimism and tearing ppl down. granted my mother in law is a know it all sometimes but never EVER does she step in my terriotry of fitness then tries to insult me when she is wrong. this woman walks around like she is high and mighty and knows everything but i really think she is a very very unhappy person b/c she has no direction in life and working dead end jobs b/c she has no other skills. me i don't mind this job b/c my opportunities are always open when i am ready to work on things for myself. she even had the gaul to bring my dh and viola into this by saying dh looks at "already in shape woman"(like they were born that way or something) and viola(whom she never even seen) needs to learn about fitness at a young age. no she does not she needs to be a 9 year old girl who enjoys playing, that is my one and only goal for her right now. she need not the stress of wondering about bitches like this one.no wonder so many ppl have body image issues. i hate to see what her daughters think of themsevles. one these ppl that equate fitness with being skinny, i hate that. if i had the choice of quality of life and lifting things on my own without anybody's help or being skinny i would rather be fat and doing things for myself instead of a drained zombie looking person. i just really hate ppl who are misinformed about fitness b/c then they spread their ideas to ppl who don't know anybody and it spreads like wildfire about these bad ideas.i don't know i should know by now that many women who do this are just jealous and will be negative to others but gosh can you imagine what her daughters are thinking about themselves right now, being raised on those ideals?yep really makes you wonder. fitness blogmy domainSpecial Needs Scouting Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don’t want to impress people they don’t like.-Will Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
