The XMRV is actually a recently-discovered retrovirus. It was originally found associated with some cases of prostate cancer. But last month, some research was released that found it first in 67% of tissue samples from people with chronic fatigue syndrome, and then later in 98% of them. It was also found in a small sampling of samples taken from people with fibromyalgia.

The full name for XMRV is a mouthful: xenotropic murine leukemia virus associated virus. Which means, the virus found in humans is closely related to Murine Leukemia Virus. Xenotropic means - the virus can replicate or reproduce only in cells other than those of the original host species. In other words, this particular virus can no longer reproduce in murine species (mice and rats), but can in humans and possibly other species.

Why it has this characteristic is something they are trying to sort out, but it may have something to do with recombination of the original murine virus with a closely related virus, or some component therefrom.

What type of machine is the XMRV?

Is anyone treating XMRV with frequencies here? I've seen a set from

dnafrequencies.com and from frequencyfoundation.com. Are there any others that

people are aware of?

Thanks,
