Guest guest
Will you share the recipe?! Sent from my iPhone > I made a green drink last night and put a half of an avocado in the mix. I never had an avocado before, so I should not have put so much in it until I got used to the taste. Well, needless to say, I could not drink much of it. Too much avocado! So I added some booch into my cup to change the flavor. It changed it some but I still could not get much more into me. Well 14 hours later, today, I tasted my cup and it was GOOD. WOW! Since I had more of that blended drink in the blender carafe yet, I went and added booch to it. It did something good to that overnight! > > Now kombucha is going to be part of my green drinks! > > Lyn > >
Guest guest
There was no recipe. I just put some celery, 3 different kinds of lettuce, a carrot, fresh cilantro, half an avocado into a juicer and juiced it. But my green juices almost never come out good, tho I have always been able to drink them. But this one was absolutely awful and I could not choke it down. Then I added KT. I don't know how much. Just filled up the cup and then let it sit overnight. Booch really did the trick and made it good. I drank it up quick! So just make green drinks and add some KT. Guest guest
, just Google " green smoothie " and you will have more recipes for green drinks than you can shake a stick at. The reason Lyn says " no recipe " is b/c after you've been making them a while, you just add whatever juice/produce you like/have on hand... For instance, we often do green smoothies with a little OJ, maybe a splash of mango juice, lots of water, handfuls of spinach, kale, rainbow chard, a frozen banana or two, and maybe frozen strawberries (we freeze fresh ones when possible). Whirrr it around in high-power blender, such as Vitamix. Even tho' it has lots of greens, usually tastes like fruit, b/c of the juice and additional fruit. It's a very nutritious drink, very palatable way of getting good stuff from greens. I usually bring to work both a green smoothie & a bottle of kombucha (either plain, or flavored). Will drink either/both as the mood strikes me, and I often will pour in the rest of my kombucha into my green smoothie glass (when there's only 2-4 inches of green drink left). Just whatever/whenever the mood strikes. It's very free-ing to not worry about recipes/proportions! Vicki in Orlando > > > There was no recipe. Guest guest
I make a Vitamix full of green smoothies at night and put them in my 18 oz Tupperware glasses. They go to work with me for breakfast. I also do the continuous brewing kombucha.which I love.it makes it so easy. I put the kombucha I will drink that day in the Grolsch bottles every morning to take to work, and then replace the amount I took out of the CB crock with fresh sweet tea. I also do bulk cooking on the weekends for the week ahead (soup, etc.). I take a bowl of homemade soup for lunch. I try to eat very healthy most of the time..but I absolutely love my CB kombucha!
