I seen a chiropractor awhile back for my low back.  I walked out of their sooo unimpressed and knew I could make myself feel better by doing my own stretches!  So, um no.. I have not.  My midwife keeps offering acupuncture, but I think it's getting better - whew!  I just don't want to overdo it.  It's a hard one to baby though!

As usual, blown away by your hard workouts, Darcy!  Have you thought of seeing a chiro for your periformis?  I feel so much better when I see Dr. No!  Hugs

Maybe you got a dud of a chiro?  The PT they assigned me from Kaiser when I injured my back was a dud and did better with my back care yoga dvd's too.. Back pain is soooooo bad compared to other pain, imo!

I agree, the chiro may have been a dud - I remember you describing your visit, Darcy. And, while there are some things I wish my chiro would foucs on - at least he did do assessments and the treatments are effective. The one area I think he could improve upon is preventative exercises. I usually have to pester him for those and it ends up typically being stuff I do already!Donna

Maybe, I went to a guy who has been in business a million years.  We're very rural, so there isn't much to choose from!My back is killing me right now :(  I just stacked a whole lot of wood for DH, and my back was not happy.  I was even concentrating using good form...GRRRRR... it bites to have a 'weakness'!

Bummer ... I guess injuries are to be expected when you 'train' as hard as we do!!HUGS..D

 

I totally get that!  I'm pissed I can't run in the Turkey Trot on TG, I have to " walk " it :(  GRRRR!
