Trina,

I'm one of those lucky people that can't wear deo. I get absesses under my

arms and have to have them cut out. I've tried everything on the market

even that crystal rock. Nothing works for me except SafeGuard bath soap.

Have you tried Gold Bond deo powder? All anti-perspirants( sp) have alum in

them. Try a pure deo. For a while I could use some of the mens' deos' but

then I had to stop those also. The Gold Bond powder worked for me for a

while too. I just had to keep experimenting until I realized nothing would

work.

Believe it or not I've met a lot of people with the same problem. Some are

even allergic to their own sweat w/ the same reaction I get.

When you're 36 yrs old and can't wear deo it's very embarrassing. Now that

I'm older by about 30 yrs I just don't go anywhere w/o taking a shower just

in time to dress and leave the house.

Wish I could be better help for you.

My son is 8 and not wearing it yet, however, in his classroom this year his

teacher is having the kids learn about personal hygiene so on his supply

list of items he needed for school were the typical school supplies along with

a

hair brush and a small stick of deodorant. I bought Tom's of Maine Deodorant

Stick Unscented and TCCD International Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal

Roll-On at Wal-Mart, both do not contain aluminum.

A good one to try is Adidas deodorant. You can get it at Walmart or

grocery stores. It is aluminum-free and contains cotton to help with

sweat. I've used it since it came out, and love it! I think it

works better than Tom's of Maine and other natural deodorants,

probably because of the cotton in it.

Hope that helps,
