Guest guest
Hi Everyone,I did Saturday's workout today - I ended up not doing much of anything exercise-wise on Saturday. But, today with the time change I got up early and did 3 miles on the treadmill. I was only planning on doing 2 - but I got into it and went the extra mile. My treadmill has been acting up on and off. It works but periodically it beeps like crazy at me and won't respond to my request for changes in speed or incline. Weird. It seems that when I leave it unplugged overnight the next day it works fine, but if I leave it plugged in when I go to use it again it goes beserk. It is relatively new - we've had it for about 3 years and gets on-and-off use. I tend to go in phases with it - sometimes I'll use it alot, other times, not so much. After the 3 miler I did all of 10 Min Solution's Rapid Results Pilates. Some of the exercises in the total body section weren't great for my back - which is still recovering - but overall it was a good one for me today. I can't believe what a difference a week makes, last week, I was living on my ice packs and heating pads for my back. So, I'm grateful to be able to do so much now.I was thinking of continuing this rotation past the 21 days. With the holidays coming I will need some low-dread workouts. Plus, I often tend to get injured during the holidays - over-doing housework/decorating/cooking/entertaining and the surprising back killer for me - wrapping presents! I was actually thinking after the first 21 days of doing 's 10 Day Challenge - walk a meal off a day - or something like that. Basically, every day for 10 days you do either a 3, 4 or 5 mile walk. Anyone up for that? That will get us through Thanksgiving week! Then, if I'm not burned out I may come back to the 21 day challenge which should take us close to Christmas.Hope everyone has a good Sunday!Take care!Donna
