Guest guest
IN THE BODY OF YOUR EMAIL PLEASE TELL US: o Your name: REQUIRED My name is Hatch o Email address you subscribed with: REQUIRED I subscribed with email address:hatch93458@... o Where you live - State: REQUIRED California County: Santa Barbara County o Are you a raw milk consumer, a wanna-be consumer or a farmer: I am a wanna-be consumer of raw milk. I know I can buy it at the health food store, but at $8.00 for 1/2 gallon, not sure that I want to spend that much. There are no other raw milk dairies in my area. To the best of your knowledge, are Raw Dairy sales available in your state? (I.e. On site farm sales only, available only through cow shares, etc.)--this info can normally be found at http://www.realmilk.com/happening.html In looking on the list, I can see that Organic Pastures of Fresno, CA is in our state and I know they sell out of our health food store. Please share what you feel comfortable sharing with the group. Other suggested topics would be: noted health benefits from raw milk (whether personal or anecdotal), how long you've been consuming raw milk products and how you found out about it. I am hoping that someone on this list might know where there would be some raw milk in my area. I am currently making kefir out of regular pasteurized whole milk, but have heard that kefir made with raw milk is so superior and that it does not go bad. Something that I heard on my kefir group about raw milk is this:Pasteurized milk rots, raw milk is always becoming.
