Guest guest
Hi all, It has been awhile since I posted. I am in week 48 of treatment and would have been finishing this week except that my Dr has decided to have me do 18 months of treatment as I did not clear my viral load until week 24. I think that that is part of my problem at this point. I am so ready for this to be finished. For those who don't know me I am 51 and live in Hermosa Beach CA (yes I moved). I have had Hep C for probably 30 years. I have been on disability since the fourth month of treatment due to the side effects. I am plugging along but am tired of being sick and tired. I don't post often anymore but am glad to see all of the new people that have joined the group. Keep up the good fight and good luck to all that are in tx. Guest guest
Jerri ~~ Sounds like you've got a lot to deal with with extended tx -- I would have to repace myself emotionally and physically is it was me. It probably would take me some time to do so too. Thanks for sharing your experience. I used to live in Redondo Beach, CA. Lived in a condo on the beach and called it the "Condo in Redondo" and it was a fun time in my life. Post when you can for it is by sticking together that we make it. Guest guest
Jerri, you have to do another 18 months? wow... but you know if I had the opportunity I don't know if I would have taken it at that moment but I sure would have taken it a few months later when my mind cleared. I can't do another tx until a new tx comes out and from what I know that could be 3-5 years, but I would jump at the chance to do it right now. Take care hon and if you need to talk and want to do it off group, please email me. I'm more than happy to listen and share. That's for everyone too. *S* ~~~~~~~~AnyaThe tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.--W.M. -- ~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~Outgoing Mail Is Certified VirusFree.~~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~... Guest guest
It would be nice to get something like that out of it (although I will take clearing any day). I think that you were asking about weight loss. I have currently lost 37 lbs (down to 115 now). Although it was radical at first it starts slowing down (or I am forcing myself to eat more) Good luck, Jerri --- Pearson wrote: > I am inspired that you have done the 48 weeks and > that you are strong enough to continue. > > So I am thinking, Are we bionic when we are done? > We should be! > > jerri neely wrote: > Hi all, > > It has been awhile since I posted.
