Guest guest
Greetings y'all I have to add to my post earlier this week. I wrote about remission, and asymptomatic periods of time. It has been pointed out a couple of times that we should just all learn to live with Stills! That rather goes without saying. We are all in varying degrees of SD, some of us in a difficult place physically and emotionally. Regardless, I think, having been in the throes of the disease for years, that I can recognize the degreee of difficulty it causes with us all. The fact that we have to deal with the disease, is obvious! However, we CAN hope....it's human nature to try and have an optimistic outlook. I tout the fact that dealling with SD can be debilitating, and depressing. I suggest that there be a support system in place. Among your team should be some councelling, or a psychiatrist or psychologist.A chronic illness is so life altering, we need all the help we can get. Don't deal with it on your own. If anyone needs someone to listen, please call . Leave a message and I'll get back to you asap! Guest guest
Thanks for the number Cat. It may come in handy sometime. Just today me and my wife were discussing how we would (not) be able to support our family of 6 if my Stills were to disable me...and its scary how close I am to that point, I just don't know how my wife is going to cope with handling everything at home, at her work, private schooling for our kids, which would be no more, all the medical bills, and the pressures from my chronic illness are enough to drive her totally insaine already!!! Cat, I'm trying to get my wife to signup for the email group so she doesn't feel so alone in our battle. Would it trouble you terribly if I have my wife call you to talk about how you handled Still's Stress?...I'm assuming your female here, and I think she might relate well with you. Thank you. - Jeff Mollitor Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T living with Stills Greetings y'all I have to add to my post earlier this week. I wrote about remission, and asymptomatic periods of time.
