Savages´ attack on Autism nothing new

As the parent of two sons that fall into the Autism Spectrum of

Disorders (ASD) I find the tirade by Conservative talk show host

Savage nothing new. I heard the same things from many of my

son´s teachers, family members and so called friends. Once diagnosed

these same people ignored the findings and continued to find other

reasons for the behaviors that my sons exhibited.

Many of the parents of ASD children have suffered along with their

children as those that should understand have no willingness to

accept the truth. Somehow an entire generation of parents lost the

ability to parent according to these nay Sayers. The government´s

lack of acknowledging the true numbers reflects this fact.

The only question that should be asked is what are the causes? Not if

ASD really exists. Mr. Savage should ask why the government has moved

so slowly and with questionable tactics to find ways to prevent and

or cure this set of disorders that have destroyed so many lives.

He would understand that the explosive rise in numbers appears to be

due to many reasons. Vaccines containing substances that are known

neurotoxins would be a good place to start. Let him see how the very

industry that profits the most does in fact benefit from what many

believe was their own doing. This Mr. Savage is a true fraud not the

fact that ASD is real or not. Let him see how for many of these

children their mothers had mercury based fillings in their teeth,

leeching into their bloodstreams and hence into the unborn child´s.

Mr. Savage should also enlighten himself as to the amount of toxins

we are all subject to from the many years of little or no regulation

on the environmental front. When it comes to genetics he needs to

understand the susceptibility factors. Those being how one person may

be inflicted as another may not with similar exposures to certain

toxic substances.

And lastly Mr. Savage should investigate the way the Centers for

Disease Control (CDC) acted with its handling of this situation. The

secrecy and manipulations of the facts and figures used in studies

along with its connection to Big Pharma. There is more to this story

than a few words and those that question ASD are unwilling or unable

to check the facts that are there for all to see. Do something that

some of our children can´t do and read and you just may find yourself

saying " How could this have been allowed to happen " ?

The name calling is nothing new as our Brats have heard it so many

times before, The Junk Scientists who have found links to the causes

also understand that name calling is a child´s way to deflect the

truth. We all know the truth and that is that our children are in

fact angels and the great scientists who are willing to take the

abuse are the heroes. You can have your opinion and so can we. Ours

are based on facts not some unexplained vengeance.
