Guest guest
do the same people who get offended at religious posts get offended if someone says "God Bless You" when they sneeze?how far do they take their extreme views? I'm a religious person, but come on! Drop it, please. You're beginning to sound like a troll.....not the kind who lives under bridges and frightens goats, but the kind that posts inflammatory emails just to see what response they bring. Please let this one go. Believe as you wish, but grant others the right to do the same. Guest guest
Hi Jodie. Just going over all the posts as I delete them one by one and read yours over again..I read each one at least twice to make sure I didn't miss anything or misunderstand it. Where you say this group is open to all religious groups, etc. the thought came to me; I have never heard of any other religious group other than Christian EVER tell how their faith in their god ever helped them cope with autism, or helped the person do better who had autism, etc. Does anybody else notice this? Carolyn No. In fact, on other lists and in RealLife , I have talked to people who are Jewish, Buddhist, Moslem, and Hindu who have said that their beliefs helped them cope as well. Guest guest
I hope you will reconsider leaving this group because you add to the richness of this community. We are all dealing with a difficult issue, and it is even more delicate because it involves our children. As much as we want religion kept out of our discussions, I understand why some parents find it difficult to distance themselves from their spiritual existence during these difficult times. I hope we can all respect our differences and focus on what brought us together in the first place. Subject: Re: questionTo: autism-aspergers Date: Thursday, June 9, 2011, 8:02 AM I am so sick of the religious extremes from both sides, and the excessive posting of bible verses. That I am leaving this group. > > >> do the same people who get offended at religious posts get > > >> offended if someone says "God Bless You" when they sneeze? > > >> how far do they take their extreme views? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi Group. I wonder if you can answer a Q. for me? I am going to bottle my first batch today. I have read about this but I still have a hard time getting the whole visual thing. I have a tea jug ready to bottle. Q) Can I start a second brew, let it cool, take the scoby from the first jug and just put it into the second brew, cover it and set aside, then bottle the first jug? Is there a step I am missing that I should do or does this sound fine? Thank you,
