Hi Everyone,

I didn't post my Friday workout 'cause I was super busy - both with work and packing to go to PA for the weekend to visit DH's aunts. (His 95 year old aunt broke her hip about a month ago and is in a rehab/nursing facility and his other aunt is 91 - and just needs some support/cheering up - the two sisters lived together for years and years and really counted on each other). Anyway, Friday's workout was FIRM Calorie Explosion, I woke up not quite in the mood for Tony - nothing personal - but I feel I have to add on too much to Sweat 5/6, so I wanted a less-fussy workout (i.e., only one DVD not multiples). Anyway, I don't remember all the details of this workout - but it is a good, sweaty challenge! The warm-up and cool down are skimpy - but the body of the workout is good and pretty intense. Not for those looking to avoid high impact, however! There are 4 cardio routines, each supposedly 12 minutes long,

but I didn't time them. They all use weights except for the kickboxing routine. The weights, however, are generally light and it is still more of a cardio/endurance workout than a strength workout. Some of the moves reminded me of Montenegro Method and my butt was sore the next day from them. I will do this one again, it was a nice challenge - and I think I would do even better with it next time around. McLean (?) leads - is a backgrounder (shows less intense mods) and may be the other backgrounder.

This weekend was no "formal "exercise, and unfortunately, a lot of bad eating! We did walk/hike though - so that was good. Today's walk/hike was 1 hour 40 min, I'm not sure about yesterday's.

Oh well - off to a new week of healthy eating an back to p90 masters!Donna
