My middle son Joe was very dyspraxic though I did not seek Dx, brushing for retained reflexes with Bob and Johassen sound therapy and a few key brain gym exercises and now he plays county football :)

INPP address similar issues to Bob and are much nearer to you in Chester I think

My younger boy has just been diagnosed with mild dyspraxia. Tom also has dyspraxia (mild) but he has so much else going on, we've never really tackled it. Tom is doing really well with Yoga and I wondered if we might implement a Dore programme for both of them to do together. Does anyone have experience? It's not cheap (and we're skint) but it seemed well thought of.I'd really welcome anybody's experiences positive or negative, many thanksSteph

Hi Steph,

I have 4 friends who did DORE with their children - this was about 6 years ago.

They all said that there were wonderful improvements and that they were very

pleased with the programme. Personally, I went down the route of an INPP

programme which I felt also made a huge difference. Back then, DORE did not

address any auditory processing issues with sound therapy etc. - don't know if

they do today, but, you would probably have to add this in at some stage if not.

Hi StephMy middle son is profoundly dyslexic and dyspraxic.. I have purchased a book called the gift of dyslexia.. £14.99 and within this there are some really interesting exercises.. and processes to help with co-ordination and balance... I have finished reading the book and hope to begin the step by step programme they offer in the next week.

Improved breathing can make a big difference with dyspraxia.. so getting him to take deep breaths and exhale fully might help too.. Our son has a very long and narrow rib cage.. and I know that if he could get this to expand and breath easier, many of his processing issues would resolve... however being over 6foot and 16... he is not too keen on following mum's advice any more..

I can let you know how I get on in you are interested.Tracey

Dore is based on Learning Breakthrough Programe:

http://www.learningbreakthrough.com/. We got the whole set from ebay for £40. We

didn't do it yet but the person who we got it from said it was amazing for her

son

Dear Kasia

Would you be so kind to send me a link of what you have purchased or maybe a description as I searched this myself and could not find anything on ebay UK and the ones on Ebay USA varies greatly and show a vast range of subjects.

Kind regards
