It gives you a constant reading via the chest strap.  The chest strap is fine though and not annoying at all.  Hope this helps Judy!Darcy

I have a question for those with mio motiva HR monitor

does it give you constant readings or do you have to put your fingers on it?

I use HR monitor for my cycling/treadmill work.  I recently lost my Polar F6 and deciding which one to get.

But, I mostly just use the chest strap with my machines (this reebok HR montior

is polar compatible) so I haven't used the watch very much. And the watch is on

the large side. But it's a good price (and I'm cheap, lol).
