Another 10 points and you are looking at the stage2 cutoff point! Also sounds like you found a doc that may know what he's doing! Congrats!! - 64 yo morb. ob. male - 12mm X 13mm rt. a.adnoma with previous rt. flank & testicle pain. I have decided against an adrenalectomy at this time since Meds. are working so well. Current BP(last week ave): 123/71 Other Issues/Opportunities: COPD w/ft Oxygen, OSA w Bi-Pap settings 13/19, DM2. and PTSD Meds: Duloxetine hcl 80 MG, Mirtazapine 15 MG, Metoprolol Tartrate 200 MG, 81mg asprin, Metformin 2000MG and Spironolactone 75 MG. > > After having two tests which showed my PTH high, Vitamin D low, urine calcium low, serum calicum, low end of normal and LOTS of other symptoms which go with parathryoid issues, I saw a surgeon at the suggestion of three of my doctors. > > This is the only Endrocine surgeon in the Greenville SC and he is wonderful Last week he requested another set of labs for aldosterone and renin. > > First thing he mentioned was that my aldosterone, granted a bit high and my renin were within normal limits. ESP the 24 BR urine for Na and K when the renin and Aldo were done. Without that one cannot interpret renin and Aldo.
