Guest guest
Sounds like good progress. We welcome you Drs joining and questions.CE Grim MD It has been 4 weeks and 5 days since my partial adrenalectomy and I thought I would update. Been very busy with Mom and her health as well as issues from my own surgery but so far I am pretty happy with results; B/P isconsistantly around 112/64-67 w/out B/P meds. 24HR urine came back stating that my aldosterone was 11.0 (range is <=21 ng/dl) 24HR creatin 1.4 (range 0.6-1.8 gm/24hr) Urine Creat 24.6 (mg/dl). This is from the sheet I requested. I think it is incomplete and will ask but it is what I have for now. I am still having pain in my abdomen / left side and constipation. I have seen the surgeon about it but he says it is unrelated to the surgery. I feel as though he is dropping the ball so I went to my primary doc today who actually thinks that an organ may have been knicked or damaged somehow during the surgery so I will be having a ct scan. Just waiting on insurance approval.Hoping for an appointment tomorrow. From the poking and proding it is much more painful tonight. Hopefully it isn't anything serious because i need to get back to work. I know something isn't right, just not sure what. I am still eating fresh foods, little to no salt in my diet yet only lost about 4 pounds. I suppose it is better than gaining. I am much less bloated (family and friends have commented on how much better my face looks-it was bloated) in general. I have more energy , think clearer and for the most part feel better. It is just the issue with my abdomen and bowels. Hopefully I get some ansers tomorrow (had some bloodwork today)and get the cat scan done. I will post again soon. I have also printed materials for my primary doc and gave to him about PA and talked to him about this site and how much it helped. He was open to the articles and listening. This is a good thing right? I'll keep talking because I think people need to be better informed and have more resources than what was available to me(and many others). I'm trying to spread the word and Dr. Grim's message. Also share what I have learned from all of you here. I am very grateful.
