Guest guest
As an early IBM PC 8086, and Amiga user, using Agent mail client since the early days, bottom posting is the correct Protocol & Etiquette for logical reasons. See: http://www.caliburn.nl/topposting.html It forces the reader to think, and clean up the original message, leaving only the relevant portion to the reply on top, and the answer below. Top posters usually reply on the spur of no moment. Top posting is acceptable IF the reply is 1-3 lines, and the original message truncated to fit one 'screenful'. However, this is usually never the case, so to be on courteous side, clean the message, bottom post AND sign! FURTHERMORE, all upper case is not acceptable - not because it is 'shouting', but because it is very hard to read if the paragraph is more than 3-4 lines. Upper case, is for the AOL members, and those on a Commodore 64. Cheers, -= Cß =- Retired Perfumer, now consulting perfumer (x/IFF, Giv, H & R), member ASP. Anyone going to the WPC in CT this week??
