Hello together,

two things: I belong to this group as a friend for one year and have still

not personally presented me. I would like to bring up now! And say, why I

appreciate this Yahoo-Group.

I live in Germany and have completed a perennial medicinal herb training

with ne Fischer-Rizzi. She is a well-known herbalist and aromatherapist

and has written several books, which have been translated into English too.

She also had deals with natural perfumery and during this training, I have

discovered the world of fragrances is as fascinating. Later I learned then

still with h Schmidt (member of technical committees of the EFEO, European

Federation of essential oils) and with the natural perfumer Alfredo Dupetit.

I sell myself no perfumes, but experiment much, and give my knowledge and my

experience in the manufacturing of ointments, creams, tinctures, and natural

perfumes to interested lay people, including children.

The first years of my involvement with natural perfumes were very lonely. I

knew very few people, who shared my passion, and have bitten me through a

lot of perfumery literature ( Jellinek and others), have researched a

lot on the Internet and stumbled on Anya's Yahoo Group. So many people who

constantly discuss all kinds of practical and theoretical questions of

natural perfumery! This is just class!

Although very openly discussed, I nevertheless feel that there are some very

good and long acquainted members - logically! - and I " know " them now too. I

miss somehow that we often don't know where the individual members come

from. Would it not be possible for each member to create a profile, perhaps

with image?

In any case: Every day I read the mails of the group.

And if I should win, I would like the textbook or alternatively the kit.
