Guest guest
I guess this is off-topic, but please, does anyone have ideas for how to flavor goat milk kefir, so it doesn't taste so.... goaty? - LOL Thank you
Guest guest
First the flavor can come from the types of goats your getting the milk from. I have Nubians and LaMancha and their milk is sweet. After you've made the kefir and removed the grains, I blend it in a blender with fresh or frozen fruit. If its still not a flavor you like add a little honey or stevia. Hope that help Sent from my iPhone > I guess this is off-topic, but please, does anyone have ideas for how to flavor goat milk kefir, so it doesn't taste so.... goaty? - LOL > > Thank you > >

Guest guest
I have Nigerian Dwarf goats and they have wonderful, creamy milk. If you cool your milk immediately after milking it will not taste gamey. The older your milk is before use will also increase an off taste. Goats milk, fresh from the goat, that has been chilled does not taste goaty. There are a lot of reasons that raw goats milk might taste " bad " . Everything from whart the goats are being fed and the conditions of where they are milked. Just some thoughts.
