Guest guest
OK, in case anyone is interested, here's a followup to a post last week regarding a low fat yogurt treat I made for my senior canine. Actually, upon tasting it prior to freezing, I found it quite palatable. I used 3 cups nonfat yogurt 2 TBSP creamy peanut butter 2 1/2 TBSP honey 1/2 cup Kombucha tea w/SCOBY Put everything in blender (it took a while to blend evenly) and then poured into 9 - 1/2 cup containers (saved from RTS applesauce). Tonight I served my " queen " her first frozen treat....she LOVED it! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/original_kombucha/photos/album/603822648/pic/list?\ mode=tn & order=ordinal & start=21 & count=20 & dir=asc As a side note, I removed 2 of my original thin, liver-size scobies and dehydrated them on some parchment paper. After removing from the dehydrator, I basted them with a diluted beef broth, which made them supple; then I rolled them up together. Boy, did my dog LOVE it! And she is usually pretty picky when it comes to eating anything new. She slept like a baby that night; didn't even snore! LOL
