What I love even more are the people at work that give me snarky looks at all the tupperware and food I lug around, all the condiments and silverware i have in my drawer.  One woman who especially rubs me the wrong way said one time, " eew you eat onions at breakfast?? " Um, yeah, they are veggies and make bland eggwhites taste better, no calories and help ward off colds to boot!

Then I lost a bunch of weight and those comments went away..... My boss asks me for workout and diet advice from time to time now.  Meanwhile I have 2 coworkers right by me who eat chips every single day.  It is so hard sometimes, chips are my downfall.  But then I see how obese one of them is and I know the other guy while only a little chubby has high cholesterol.

Bottom line:  the life of a fit person can often be a lonely one.  Others may want to work out with you and emulate you but when they realize it is work they throw in the towel and go back to eating those chips and being sedentary.  I find that with my lifestyle I'm kind of lonely, to be honest!  My other fit friends have very different goals and our schedules are such that we don't work out together.  The friends I have over to Studio LouLou are at a more beginner level and for some workouts that's fine but at the end I can only rely on me so I get up at 4:00 am and do it 4 days a week during the week and also work out later on in the morning on the weekend.

For those of you that are married or living with your partner, my question to you is, does your partner work out too?  If not, is it frustrating to you that they don't share your zest for being healthy?  Do they grudge you for the time you spend at the gym or work out time away from them?

Hoping one day to find a loving partner in fitness,
