Guest guest Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 I have been on Kineret for quite a while now and don't exactly know what I am supposed to notice to see if it is working or not. The reason I ask this is because ever since we started on this " warm spell " (today was in the 50's) most of my major joints are killing me. I wake up at night at least -3x due to VIOLENT pain from my knees, my wrists and ankles hurt more when they are idle, but the pains are sharp. I also noticed the other night my left wrist was swollen like when I first got whacked as the swollen area was hard as a rock and hurt like hell to touch...yet an hour later it was gone. I have a sneaking suspicion it isn't working out, but I figured I'd see if anyone else has encountered this. I called my RD and told his nurse about it, and he wanted me to drive down there today, but that was not practical or even realistic. He is supposed to call me later and I know he is going to want to jack up the roids again. I just got below 10 mg/day last month for the first time in close to a year!!!! Oh well, everything in life does indeed suck...except for the things......hell, you all know the rest! Later, Kirk. -- Everything in life sucks except things that should!
