I have spent a small fortune on so called natural deodorants but nothing works

so I will definitely try this.

Thanks for the tip,

I use it with success after trying many natural deodorants and all them really expensive ....I have not buy any specific type of bicarb but that fact really worries me so if any one knows of a safe bicarb so please post the link to all of us.

I am not sure about this. I think that there are pure and less pure bicarbs. I guess it is a question of asking the manufacturers.. I have been using the Dove's Farm brand.

The trace amounts will still be very very much lower than in the branded deos though.

Hi Tracey,What I meant to say was that I thought some bicarb contains aluminium and/or anti-caking agents. If so it's best to find one that explicitly says it does not contain these. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that in some cases very trace amount substances do not require listing as ingredients.... Which I thought discovered on my quest to make sense of my sensitivities.....)

For non food and bulk use there's this one here http://www.summernaturals.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info & cPath=80 & products_id=400

For food use Iguess it's best to ask the manufacturer. I remember emailing Dove's farm about theirs, can't remember exactlywhat they said, but I use it... perhaps I'll check again.

I googled aluminium free bicarb and came up with this site

http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=119102

Well I know that the name is a bit alarming.. green shell suit and all... however there is a specific article about Dr Oetkers Bicarb being aluminium free.. The Germans are usually a few light years ahead of us for health..

Dr Oetkers is available in most supermarkets for less than a pound per pot.. A pot lasts us about 4 months..
